What are your current projects and/or responsibilities as a board member?
Stage Manager for the Youth Summer Theatre Program
What experience do you bring to the board?
I have been a member of Lake Plains Players since 2015, working as an actor, stage manager, and set builder/painter. Before becoming involved with Lake Plains, I participated in musical productions since middle school. I continue working on many other musical productions as a production assistant at Albion Central School. I have been seen in many Lake Plains productions as the comedic relief and all-around goofball on and off the stage.
When did you first start working with LPP?
I first started working with LPP as a part of the Youth Summer Theatre Program in 2015 with the production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, where I was seen as a sailor and, of course, King Triton’s right-hand man the seahorse! (I bet you were thinking, Sebastian) If it had not been for Lance Anderson’s master recruiting skills, I would have never gotten involved in this wonderful theatre company.
Evan is very excited to be joining the LPP board. He is very actively involved in music throughout the Orleans and Niagara County areas in many ensembles and is an avid Bills fan who loves to yell at the TV whether the Bills are winning or losing. He started performing with Lake Plains when he was a freshman in High School, and they haven’t been able to get rid of him since.
