What are your current projects and/or responsibilities as a board member?
I am currently gearing up to co-direct this summer 2024's youth production of Mary Poppins Jr.! I also oversee the Lance Anderson Memorial Scholarship
What experience do you bring to the board?
Favorite past roles have included:
White Christmas | Betty
Little Women | Marmee
Grey Gardens | Edith & Little Edie
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee | Rona
Amahl & the Night Visitors | Mother
Chess | Svetlana
You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown | Lucy & Sally
Nunsens I & II | Sr. Hubert
When did you first start working with LPP?
I've been a part of Lake Plains Players since early high school when I began playing in pit bands under the direction of Mr. Stacey. I will reluctantly admit to that being about 26 years ago (impossible though, considering my current young age of only 25, hahaha!). I quickly transitioned to the stage, went off to college and then as soon as I came back home, hopped back up on stage! I joined the board very shortly after. I'm thankful to have had these past almost three decades on stage and off with the likes of Lance and Ted, among others.
I am a passionate cat lover and Buffalo Bills fan, wife and step-mom who also spends her days as a music teacher. I'm returning to the board as an at-large member after a few year hiatus, having previously served on the board for about 12 years as an at-large member, vice president, secretary and grant writer.
